Read the news any day of the week and you'll find story after story of construction site lumber, appliance and equipment theft. What makes these thefts particularly painful is not only the cost of the equipment, but the cost of the delay to the schedule of every single milestone that follows. For example, your lumber is stolen so your workers cannot complete framing. This delays the electrical team who have to move on to another project, which delays the next milestone and so on and so forth. 

What many people don't realize is that these cameras not only provide real-time monitoring and alerts, they also include GPS. Why does this matter? We recently had a customer who experienced a jobsite theft, including one of their Sensera cameras. Since our patented low-power technology enables our cameras to operate for up to 10 days (depending on model) with no power or network connectivity, the camera continued to record video and capture images. In addition, our cellular interface allowed the system to stay connected to the network, which ensured not only seamless coverage, but also allowed us to track the camera and provide a GPS location to local law enforcement. Authorities were quickly able to apprehend the alleged thief and stolen property, including the still recording camera!
